In which I get set apart

 Sunday, June 8, 2008, 11;52 pm, 3 days

I was set apart today and so far it hasn’t been that hard. Hopefully, it will stay that way.

My family went through two crying sessions today. It’s always good to get it all out before everything happens. The first bout was in the Stake President’s office when he  asked my family members to give me advice starting with Jacob. Then we had a quick FHE and we started again.

We had lunch with our ward missionaries today: Elder Josh Reynolds and Elder Romito. I kinda requested them over for my satisfaction. It was good.

I received gifts from Sister Capp and Sister Rauch. A beautiful tie from the Capps and two very nice embroidered towels from Sister Rauch. I love my ward.

Fortunately, I didn’t  get called to bear my testimony during Stake Conference but I did sing One Voice with the Elders, Cody, and William Hansen.

I’ll try to write what I can remember from my blessing. Become one with my companion through the spirit. Be able to perform miracles. Blessed me and my family with strength. Blessed me in my weaknesses.

Last night in my bed. Tomorrow and Tuesday on the road.

Last conversation with Blair wasn’t as sad as I though it would be.

ALL is Well.
