My very first "Click Day," Splits with Bryce Huey, and Teaching the First Lesson

Viernes, 11 de julio, 2008, día 30, 11:39pm, "Hooray for CLICK DAY"

QotD: "We're trying to get Directions." "Oh, the nearest tavern is one block that way." A man named Grant almost seriously told us this but he did it jokingly. He then offered to give us a ride to the place we needed to be at. Way cool guy.

As mentioned above...today is my very first click day. It is an occasion that missionaries celebrate. It signifies that I am one month older in the mission. So I have been out exactly one month from the day I entered the MTC, which was June 11. My click day are always the 11th.

Today was a way good day. We taught a family of three today named Faviola and Juan and Edward who is their child. We taught the first lesson to them and Faviola is so ready. She's been searching in her life. It just went really well and we explained everything simply.

We also had a really great spiritual lesson with an investigator named Felipe. He can speak both Spanish and English and since we had Bryce Huey with us tonight, he spoke in English. We watched Finding Faith in Christ. Afterward, we gently laid down the Word of Wisdom by first congratulating him for his accomplishments in his life and read him the blessings he would receive. It went so well. The spirit was there.

We gave Chris Banderas a Book of Mormon.

Went to Maid-Rite
I burned Apostate Books. Fun.
