In which we stop at Granny's and Grandpa's on the way to the MTC

Monday, June 9, 2008, 10:27pm (back in Utah time), 2 days

 Yep, I’m a missionary now.

 Today hasn’t been too bad.

I am at Granny’s and Grandpa’s house now in Hurricane, Utah. We (my dad and I) left at 11:10am Cali time. I drove the first two hours and we made it to Primm but for some reason I was so tired by the end of it. Dad drove the rest of the way to Hurricane while I slept or read.

I think my sleepiness came from a small selection of music to choose from. Also, my dad and I ate at the Carl’s Jr. and got Jalepeño chicken sandwiches which is still making my stomach bubble. I do Love their jalepeño burgers, though.

We got here and Granny and Grandpa took Dad, me, and Jade to Lupita’s for dinner and I got a chimichanga. I finally found out what a chimichanga is: a deep-fried burrito. Ummm. It was good but all this spicy food is making me feel disgusting.

They showed Jade and me pictures of their mission to South Africa and Granny shoed me her pictures of her time in IOWA.

I spoke with Jade about plans and preparation for his mission to Washington D.C. North. I am really excited that he is going to the MTC a week after me and hopefully I’ll see him.

 FINAL DAY TOMORROW.

I spoke with Aunt Kristen and Uncle Kent.

 Note: Sister Aune
