Bicycle Incident, First time with the Santos Family, Swift, and Tall Corn Towers,

 Míercoles, 9 de junio, 2008, día 28, 10:49pm

QotD: As we were passing by a man who was mowing the lawn, on bikes, Elder McLaws asked him how he was or just said "Hi" and the man raiseed his hand square to his shoulder and just gives us a I-don't-want-to-talk-to-you hand as we passed on by.

Una día más larga de todos. Hablaba con toda la gente en Marshalltown, Iowa.

We finally went to the house of the Santos family. It wasn't as scary as I was envisioning it. We had a really good dinner and it started pouring. Elder McLaws had an accident with his pants because of Carlos and a football. I had an accident with my bike; fortunately I was getting on to grass when my front wheel came off and I fell.

I received a letter from Hermana Corrinn Aune, my second cousin who is going to serve in Texas.

We bumped into several girls ages 10-16 who had a lot of questions once we told them we were missionaries. They just went crazy.

I saw SWIFT for the first time today. Es la pig farm where they raise pork to eat. A lot of people in Marshalltown live there. There are also towers of apartments called Tall Corn Towers.

We bumped into a really strange guy who served in California and supposedly is now excommunicated.

¡TODO ESTÁ BIEN!

pero necesita dormir.
