QotD: "I gotta have the chocolate mousse..." and afterwards-"What is a chocolate moose?" -Said last Thursday and reiterated today at lunch. Elder Curry-from Canada

Yes! We found a family that is ready! Oh MAN!

The Fonseca family on Kester Rd. We've tried to contact them several times. We were close to giving them up, and believe us, we could have postponed today's first appointment to another time (because it's been raining), but we have persisted. She even called us and said to stay home because the day has turned for the worst. Tomasa Fonseca, she is divorced and has three kids, Melissa-and I can't remember names. They were so stinkin' hospitable and while we were there we felt peaceful. Brother Johnson came out with us. It was a terribly good experience being there and getting to meet them. Now we just need to help her be baptized and stay strong. But she seems to know how to Press Forward in the faith. The daughters are way nice.

Otherwise, we had District Meeting today. It was good. Learned a lot and making good friends with Elder McDonough-DL and his companion that can lift a truck with one hand-Elder Curry.

We went to Josephine's house to help her move furniture and clean her house. She is a less active member that has had problems with lots of stuff in her family, all from when she was raised.

Elder McLaws is a good person. He called up one of the people he helped become baptized and helped to strengthen her testimony and rejuvenate her. Marifey.
