First P-day in the field, Getting my Bike, Emailing from the Library, Hanging with the English Elders, and going on splits (as well as a storm)

Lunes, 7 de julio, día 26, 9:31pm, Día de preparación

Quote of the Day: One of Lacy's small daughters gave me a brush and she had a plastic but real looking play knife and she said: "FIGHT!!!"

Well, today was the most laid back day of them all. It was P-day; what more can I say.

I really slept in this morning; I got up -- but I slept some more. That was cool and that is all I needed; rest.

Then we went to the Library ______ for an hour. Wow. I wrote a lot. Hopefully it'll be stapled into here so that I don't los memory of my mission. This is only my 5th day, I can't believe it.

I did buy a bike for $85 used and it's still in pretty good shape. I rode it home from 2nd street. Marshalltown is built in a grid system like Utah cities but from East to West it is streets that change into avenues and from North to South the streets have names. WE bought the bike at a bike store here on main street.

After Elder Curtis and McLaws got a haircut, we went home and played Scotland Yard - a detective game. It was pretty good. We were unable to finish. Elder Curtis is from Texas, Elder Hewitt is from Idaho and Elder McLaws is from Arizona.

We went to splits afterwards with Bro. Visser. He's actually a pretty cool old man with tatoos on his arm and crazy stickers on his car. We went to Tony and Lacy's house. It was a mad house for a while because Lacy was babysitting kids. Wow-o-wow! It started to rain today. Boy how it poured and poured and the thunder was loud and the lightning was bright.

No word from Blair as of yet.
