Speaking in church, a tornado warning, and getting spit on

QotD: "We owe everything and everybody the benefit of the doubt." -Marion; "Elder Gonzales y yo, perdón..." -Elder Gonzales
I spoke today - on a last minute I knew about it an hour before I had to speak basis. Fortunately, the topic was broad and easy to talk about. My mind was all over the place, though, because I wasn't able to write anything down. The topic was pioneer heritage. It was so cool, because there were a lot of people in attendance, Including several less active families we taught and one of our investigators. So I was able to be the person they were familiar with. I felt like I was or I took up all the Bishop's time to speak. As long as I kept people awake, that's all that I care about.
Last night there was a tornado warning. My first in my life. It wasn't as bad except the clouds were freakin' awesome to watch and the lightning was pretty stinkin' awesome.
Ate at Bishop's house, Bishop Stimpson. Good food and somewhat good conversation. I got spit on yesterday. Elder McLaws and I taught a great first lesson today. It was simple and the people were really receptive.
